Product and Talent images are now restricted to a size ratio to help promote consistency. This guide will help you understand how to use the cropping tool when uploading images for these sections.

In this example, we will select and crop an image for a Product.

1. Select the image from your computer

Once selected, the image preview and crop tool will display on the right. Some basic instructions are provided on the left:

The part of the image inside the blue dotted reticle indicates what part of the image will be cropped and saved.

2. Move the image around to the desired size and shape.

You can scale the image up and down by using your mouse's scroll wheel (or equivalent on a laptop track pad).

You can move the crop reticle around by clicking and dragging inside of it. You can also move the image around by clicking and dragging outside of the crop reticle.

For images that don't fit the desired shape well, you may want to consider using a different image. If that's not an option, you can zoom the image out until it fits in the space, like so:

The empty space will be filled with a white background.

Please note that you can reset the tool at any time and start over by clicking the "reset" button below the file browser input.

3. When you're happy with the result, click "Save Crop".

As in the example above, because my image was smaller than the crop reticle, the remaining space was filled in with a white background:

If you don't care for the resulting image and want to start again, simply re-select the image from your computer and start again at step 1.
